Knockan & Inverpolly Knockan is the starting point for a 50 mile drive through Inverpolly National Nature Reserve. The Knockan visitor centre is approximately 12 miles north of Ullapool and the small Knockan Cliff nature trail is a pleasant way of spending an hour or so learning about the local wildlife and geology.
